San Lorenzo Latin American Community Centre is looking to fill the following position
Project Coordinator for the Seniors Wellness Hub
Part time (10 hours) per week
30 Week Fixed –Term Contract
This is a part time position (10 hours per week for 30 weeks) for an individual who is fluent in Spanish and English with experience with Seniors groups in Wellness programs.
We are seeking an individual who has knowledge in geriatric studies able to coordinate activities designed for seniors including: physical fitness; gardening; nutrition and cooking; health and wellness and social events.
The individual will be able to:
· organize the total 7 month program and source supplies as required;
· organize professional guest speakers;
· promote the program through various media outlets: webpage; face-book and radio.
· coordinate weekly 1 hour in-person classes and workshops on a Saturday afternoon
· be responsible for participant registration;
· ensure the timely implementation of the project;
· administer questionnaires, collect data, and write the progress and final reports.
Start Date: Monday April 7. 2025
End Date: Friday, October 31. 2025
